  What a fun spot! Got that total gritty Venice Beach vibe (perhaps the crowd from the Car Show added to that) mixed with the full-on authentic "California Tiki" thing. We drive from LA to Los Olivos all the time and this might be our new "pit-stop".
  
  Honestly, I've had better poke at some of the new poke restaurants popping up all over the place, but the fish here was excellent quality, and some of the other items we ordered were much better than you would imagine finding at a jam-packed hipster bar.
  
  Get ready to be squished, stand around looking for a seat, and push your way to the bar to get your order in, but that seems to be part of the charm. Definitely going to come back, and bring some friends to check this place out.

  Can I give this more than 5 stars? I can't handle the crowds at peak moments, but Magnum Mondays, with half off the Ventiki Mai Tai if you wear a fake mustache and a manageable amount of people milling around? Exceptional. Amazed at the fresh, buttery salmon in my sushi roll, as well. Full of surprises, you kooky tiki joint, you!
